Terms of Purchase, Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Byrne’s Crate provides free shipping on orders over $50.00.  We utilize the most cost efficient and safe method in our judgement to route your package to the requested destination. 

We always insure packages for any value over the $50.00 threshold for the value of the purchase and this will often times impose conditions on us such as requiring a signature on the receiving end.   The primary methods of shipment we utilize are:

  • United States Postal Service Priority Mail
  • United Parcel Service

Certain items we stock in our warehouse for immediate shipment.  Certain items we ship from the vendors warehouse.  On items we stock, shipments will occur within 48 business hours and we will provide a tracking number for that item. 

For items shipped from a vendor, shipments occur within 72 hours, unless there is some issue outside the control of our vendor in meeting that deadline.  We will generally notify you when the product has shipped from the remote location and provide a tracking number for you to monitor the progress of your shipment. 

If there is any availability or shipping delay, we will notify you of the issues prior to finalizing your payment, and in accordance with your wishes.  If you agree to the new shipping date, we will finalize your payment and proceed with your order under the new shipment date terms, or in he alternative, if you request cancellation, we will promptly cancel and process and return payment to you original  method of payment. 

Blissful Bedding Trial

We respect your sleep.  We want you to be comfortable with your purchase.  That is why your linen bedding purchase comes with a 60 day trial on all Byrne’s Crate linen bedding items, including linen duvet covers, sheets and bedding sets (bundles). If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund of the item cost.  All tags must be in place on the item as originally shipped. 

The item must be in good condition even if washed or used, absent of any discoloration or blemishes.  Upon receipt of the item, you should inspect the garment thoroughly for any such discoloring blemishes and report those immediately. The trial does not apply to bath, kitchen, and table linens, linen clothing, fabric samples, Decorative Bedding orders and custom orders. Only one Blissful Bedding Trial per customer. Decorative bedding is covered by the policy below.

You must pay for return shipping to the intake location per the instructions of Byrne’s Crate. If you wish to exercise this right of return,  simply initiate a request to return the item by logging in to your account under the my account page and selecting “Support Tickets” on the menu.  You can login to your account at this link.

Once we receive it at our return intake address, within seven days, we will inspect the item and determine if it meets the requirements for return and inform you that we will process the return.  The actual credit may take up to 7-10 days based on the policies of the original payment method used.

If the item does not meet the minimum terms for return to us, we will contact you to discuss the next steps 

Returns – Decorative Bedding, Accessories and Non-Bedding Items

Items in the Decorative Bedding category are subject to their own return policy.  You have 14 days after receipt to inspect the item for damage or unacceptable workmanship.  If you have any problems with the item and wish to return it, simply initiate a request to return the item by logging in to your account under the my account page and selecting “Support Tickets” on the menu.  You can login to your account at this link.

Items must be returned with all labels intact and all original packaging  (not external shipping containers).

How To Send Back An Item

You may return the item using any carrier you wish.  Make sure to ship it in the same packaging, or better, as you received it in and insure the item for the full amount of the purchase price paid. 

Once we intake the item and inspect it, we will process the return to your original form of purchase within five business days.  Actual credit to your orginal payment method will be governed by the policies of the payment entity and can extend to 10-14 days.  

We will  refund or exchange the item or provide store credit if the item is no longer available, based on your wishes.

Liquidated Damages

By your purchase of any product from this website (Byrnes-Crate.com), you agree to liquidated damages with a strict limit of the amount of your purchase plus $100.00 (one hundred dollars) in association with any legal claim you may have with your purchases from Byrne’s Crate (BCV, LLC). 

Terms and Changes in Terms

All terms, conditions and policies are subject to revision by BCV, LLC at any time for any reason. This terms page was modified November 23, 2021.  Copies of all terms policy revisions are kept in the possession of BVC, LLC.  The actual policy applied to any claim you assert under the provisions of this page shall be those in effect on the date your payment was finalized and last through the final date you may make a claim to return an item whether that be 30 days or 60 days.  You must apply for a return prior to the expiration of the date term (30-60 days after the payment has cleared our bank). 

Warranty

Linen Bedding

All linen bedding items purchased from Byrne’s Crate carry a full 12 month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.  It does not cover damages caused by misuse or failure to conform to washing and cleaning instructions.  The process to file a claim is the same as for returns above, login and initiate a return using the “Support Ticket” menu item.  We will contact you with instructions on how to proceed through the support system. 

Decorative Bedding

All items in the Decorative Bedding category have similar warranty terms and conditions but are limited to 120 days after date of purchase.

All Other products 

All other products have similar warranty terms and conditions but are limited to 120 days, or in specific instances will have a special warranty period described in the Product Description.

Processing of Warranty Claims

Accepted warranty claims are honored by a refund, exchange or store credit on our soul judgement as to the best appropriate method. 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@byrnes-crate.com or submit a “Support Ticket by loggin in to your account and selecting “Support Ticket” from the menu.

Miscellaneous

To complete your return, or warranty return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Furnishing us an #Order Number from the original invoice will usually suffice.  We do recommend however that you keep a copy of the original Order Confirmation email.

We are sorry but we cannot accept returns on the following items:

  • Gift cards

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
